What is a LED Light Treatment?
Light therapy has become one of the most popular beauty treatments and it is the ultimate in skin rejuvenation! LED treatments provide the energy that your cells can use to accelerate the production of collagen and elastin, stimulate lymphatic drainage, improves the skin firmness and elasticity, reduces acne breakouts and minimizes the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
This completely safe, non-invasive treatment uses LED light to emit light that is absorbed by the skin, stimulating natural rejuvenation and resulting in glowing, radiant skin. This treatment uses different colors, frequencies, and wavelengths for acne, rosacea, discoloration and sun damage skin.
What are the benefits of combining LED light therapy with other treatments ?
The maximum benefits of this stand alone treatment are best achieved when used in conjunction with Age Defying Treatments. This LED light therapy can be added as enhancement to any treatment. Series of treatments recommended for comprehensive results.
When light therapy is combined with microdermabrasion, chemical peels or laser resurfacing, you’ll see roughly a 50% increase in healing time and 80% reduction in swelling.
Minimize pore size, lighten skin tone and improve texture in combination with microcurrent.
Improves result longevity, speed recovery time, decrease in bruising and inflammation when used with cosmetic injections.
Can be used after waxing because the light can help to calm and soothe waxed skin, causing the redness to subside more quickly than it would on its own.
Does the color of the LED light does matter?
Yes! It influences the response in the skin.
Blue light - Indicated for acneic skin. Reduces bacteria and helps with dehydrated skin.
Green light - Indicated for hyperpigmented skins. Acts to detoxify skin by reducing irritation, sensitivity and redness. Also helpful for rosacea and irritated skin which has undergone procedures such as hair removal and IPL.
Yellow light - Indicated for sensitive skins. Helps reduce inflammation and edema. It is the second deepest wavelength.

The defining feature of LED is its use of one single wavelength to address specific concerns. But with growing variety of beneficial wavelengths, layering LED treatments offers optimal results.
How many treatments does it take?
The number of treatments needed varies with different skin types and conditions. A series of 8 to 12 sessions spread out over a period of 4 to 6 weeks is recommended.
